David Chandler: The toughest binocular ever

I was relieved that these binoculars had servived. I wouldn´t have wanted to have made that phone call to the lady at ZEISS if they hadn´t. But i was impressed, too. These are though binoculars, and that may well be worth paying extra for. So, are there any other brands out that would allow us to do something extreme of their products...?

Hiking premiere: CONQUEST HD

The official starting signal will be given on 20 July 2012. The new CONQUEST HD models 8x32 and 10x32 will make their debut. We have already sent one model on a maiden tour of the Bavarian Alps to test it. A steep climb with a light rucksack.

Carl Zeiss supports campaign against migratory bird poaching on Malta

To protect the European migratory bird population, the Committee Against Bird Slaughter has been organising so-called bird protection camps at poaching centres in the Mediterranean for over 20 years. Situated between Sicily and the Tunisian coast, the island of Malta is an important area of operation, where each spring poachers shoot or catch thousands of protected migratory birds.
