Victory NV 5.6x62 T* night vision device

The specialist for night observation

High-tech optics that bring light into darkness

The main challenge of night-time hunting is the secure identification of the target before shooting. When night-time conditions are even beyond the capability of classic low light binoculars, the Victory NV 5.6x62 T*, with its electronic residual light intensifier, comes into its own. It allows you to observe game even in the light of a new moon and gives you a secure identification; a clear, starry sky is enough to provide the brightest, most detailed images. This makes it possible for you to continue your stand hunting at night.

Here you find the top features of the Victory Night Vision.

Intensifier tubes

The night vision device is based around a high-performance Generation 2+ intensifier tube with approx. 20,000 x light amplification capacity.

High-resolution optics

A low light 62 mm lens collects all the available light and bundles it onto the highly sensitive photocathode.

Robust construction

Both optics and mechanics are well protected in their rubber armour housing, which is waterproof and filled with nitrogen.

High-performance Generation 2+ intensifier tubes

The night vision device is based around a high-performance Generation 2+ intensifier tube with approx. 20,000 x light amplification capacity. It contains a microchannel plate (MCP), which creates detailed, high-contrast images. In terms of distortion and vignetting it is far superior to earlier generations of night vision devices. An integrated protective function ensures that strong light radiation (e.g. through the sudden appearance of car headlamps) will not cause any damage to the system. You can benefit from having the very latest technology at your side – outstanding expertise from ZEISS.

High-resolution, low light optics

The manually focussed, low light 62 mm lens collects all available light and bundles it onto the highly sensitive photocathode. Both the lens and the eyepiece use the cutting-edge Carl Zeiss T* multi-layer coating for maximum light efficiency. The waterproof and dirt-repellent LotuTec® coating gives you clear, unclouded vision. The perfect interplay of optics and electronics offers exceptional stand hunting at night.

Ergonomic and robust construction

Both optics and mechanics are well protected in their rubber armour housing, which is waterproof and filled with nitrogen. A secure grip and individual, ergonomic operation is guaranteed by the fact that the leather wrist strap can be attached on either the left or the right, depending on whether you are left or right-handed.

Integrated IR LED

If there is absolutely no light and no residual light either, the integrated IR LED can be activated at the touch of a button to provide bright images. The LED generates an infrared light that the eye cannot see, but which allows observation with the NV device to a distance of around 50 m. By using an adapter you can fit an additional torch with an IR filter, which illuminates distances of up to several hundred metres.

Manual brightness regulation

The image brightness is easily adjusted using plus and minus buttons, so that your eyes can identify details without being dazzled.

Reticle for estimating distances

A reticle in the field of view helps with the simple estimation of distances. It also allows you to use the diopter adjustment clearly and simply.

Victory NV 5.6x62 T*

Night becomes day with the Victory NV 5.6x62 T*. The latest intensifier tubes use the lowest light possible to have the game appear 20,000 times brighter - this way you can also tackle even the darkest conditions.

The adaptor fits onto the tripod mount of the NV device and holds torches with a tube diameter of 1 inch.

Adaptor for Mini-Maglite

This adaptor is needed in order to use the compact Mini-Maglite.

Camera adaptor for SLR

An SLR lens with a 55 mm filter thread can be fitted directly behind the eyepiece.

Questions & Answers

What changes have been made to the previous night vision device?

The reticle to estimate distance is new. This can also be used to support the dioptre adjustment. Furthermore, the outer glass surfaces are now also coated with the LotuTec® protective coating.

Is it now ROHS-compliant?

The night vision device naturally – like all other Carl Zeiss products – conforms to all legal requirements. This applies for ROHS guidelines just as it does for CE.

Will it damage the tube if the Victory NV is held in the light or if the protective cap is not used during the day?

No, the tube will not be damaged immediately. However, contact with light should be avoided, because this may cause the lifecycle of the intensifier tube to be reduced.

What do the abbreviations mean?

Meaning of the abbreviations

Binoculars or spotting scopes with glasses that contain fluoride (FL) for sharper, higher contrast images with significantly reduced chromatic aberrations; Fluoride Lenses; a special, high-quality sub-category of the ED lenses

Previously used to designate Dialyt binoculars with rubber armour

ZEISS T* multi-layer coating for extremely high transmission and low reflex susceptibility

ZEISS multi-layer coating (multi coating)

P / P*
Phase correction coating on the roof prisms, which provide a higher resolution of the finest detail structures. All ZEISS binoculars with roof prisms use this coating

Previously used to designate binoculars that can be worn by people who wear glasses.
Now all ZEISS binoculars and spotting scope eyepieces are suitable for people who wear glasses, so the "B" designation is no longer used

Binoculars with mechanical image stabilisation

Riflescope models with ZEISS mounting rail.

Riflescope with illumination control

Extra low Dispersion = low chromatic aberrations

High Definition. HD is not a type of lens. Instead it describes the result of the ED lenses: very good resolution

High Transmission = lenses by SCHOTT with very good transmission properties.

Smart Focus = Conventional binoculars require the focusing wheel to be turned 2.5 times in order to switch from the close focus to the maximum observation distance. The VICTORY SF only requires the wheel to be turned 1.8 times.
